By directly sorting and deleting unnecessary photos or duplicates from your smartphone, you automatically free up space on your cloud.
In the future, we expect to be able to help you Sort directly for online storage solutions like iCloud or Google Drive. This will allow you to optimize even more more efficiently your space.

No absolutely not! At Meerabel, we love what we call “edge computing”: Meerabel works locally on your phone, Edge computing. This means that all the sorting and analysis of your photos take place directly on your smartphone. None of your images are sent to our servers.
This has three main advantages:
1) More speed : no need to wait for data to pass through the Internet.
2) Total respect for your privacy : your memories remain in your hands.
3) Reduced ecological impact : our approach consumes less energy, because it avoids massive data transfers.
With Meerabel, you are assured of one solution at a time efficient, secure, and environmentally friendly. 🌿
Meerabel finds and classifies the photos for you quick and easy sorting ! Thanks to its AI, the application automatically detects and classifies duplicate, similar, blurry, or poorly framed photos in specific categories (duplicates, to be checked, etc.).
To merge similar photos, simply press the “Merge” button above the selected photo series.
For the photos to be checked, we suggest a swipe system: swipe your thumb to the left to send the photo to the trash, or to the right to keep it!
Fast, effective and even a bit fun, Fast, effective, fun.
Phew, you still have one chance!
Once deleted, your photo is sent to the trash can where you can retrieve it if you change your mind. Attention, once deleted from the trash, it will however be permanently deleted and you will be impossible to get it back.
We know that deleting a photo is sometimes difficult, but each deleted image allows you to enjoy the memories that really matter even better. As a bonus, you reduce your digital impact: A simple gesture for a great effect ! 🌍
A slow phone is often caused by a saturated storage, and that happens frequently with photos. Images take up a lot of space, and when your phone is full, it can get slower due to excess data, apps that struggle to function, and lack of space for background processes.
Meerabel can help you improve the performance of your smartphone by helping you free up space. Here's how:
- Removal of duplicates : The app detects and removes duplicate photos that are cluttering up your storage.
- Sorting unnecessary photos : Meerabel identifies photos that are blurry, poorly framed, or redundant, so you can easily remove them.
- Optimization of your storage : By eliminating unnecessary photos on your phone, you free up space for new photos while maintaining optimal device performance.
In a few simple steps, Meerabel helps your phone get back to speed by reducing photo clutter and optimizing your storage! 🚀📱

Our aim is simple: Help you free up space by eliminating photos that clutter up your phone or cloud.
We get paid with a few integrated ads, which allows us to keep the application free. So, thank you for your support and good organization of your photos! 😊

When we use the term CO₂, we are referring to greenhouse gas emissions, often referred to as “carbon equivalent” or Co²eq. For the purposes of our application, CO₂ always means CO₂ eq, i.e. the global impact of greenhouse gases, not just carbon dioxide.
We have chosen to use the term CO₂ in our interfaces to make the information more accessible and understandable for everyone.
To help you better visualize the impact of your actions, we have integrated a very practical tool from ADEME, the CO₂ detector.
This tool allows you to easily see what equivalent CO₂ emissions correspond to: for example, how many emissions represent 1 g of CO₂, 100 kg, or even 1000 tons of CO₂. A simple way to understand the impact of our digital actions on the environment! 🌍
A photo stored in the cloud generates approximately 4.68 g of CO₂ per photo per year.
Why? When you save your photos in the cloud, they are sent to data centers, often located in the United States (such as those of Google or Apple). This data travels thousands of kilometers, traveling through multiple servers, routers, and other devices that consume power to function and must also be cooled to avoid overheating.
This set of processes has an impact on the environment, as all this infrastructure requires electricity, which is often produced from non-renewable sources.
To understand in detail the ecological impact of your photos on a global scale, discover our reason for being and explore the precise calculation of the carbon footprint of your digital memories and those on a global scale. 🌱📸
Digital sobriety is an approach aimed at alerting people to the carbon footprint of digital technology, and to reduce it by encouraging moderate and reasonable use. This doesn't mean deleting all of your Netflix apps and subscription, but using them in a better way!digital sobriety is an approach aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of digital technology by encouraging a more moderate and thoughtful use of technologies. It's not about giving up all your apps or Netflix subscription, but rather about using them more responsibly and effectively.
According to ADEME, the digital sector represents 3 to 4% of global CO₂ emissions, cWhat is more than civil aviation*. Even worse, this figure should double by 2025 if no action is taken to reduce these emissions.
*According to The Shift Project in its study “Flying in 2050", civil aviation emitted 2.56% of global CO2 emissions in 2018.
Adopting digital sobriety means participating in a more sustainable use of digital tools while reducing the environmental impact of our daily actions. 🌍You can use this ADEME tool to quickly understand the orders of magnitude:
