At Meerabel, we place environmental protection at the same level as the protection of your privacy and therefore on how we manage your data.
MEERABEL SAS pays particular attention to the protection of personal data (hereinafter “Personal Data”). MEERABEL SAS undertakes to comply with all regulations relating to the protection of Personal Data, including in particular law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms, amended by European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter the “Applicable Regulation”).
The purpose of this policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) is to inform Internet users (hereinafter the “Visitor” or the “Visitors”) who visit the website http://www.meerabel.com/ (hereinafter the “Site”), and/or users (hereinafter the “User” or the “Users”) of the Meerabel mobile application provided by MEERABEL SAS (hereinafter the “Service”), and/or users (hereinafter the “User” or the “Users”) of the Meerabel mobile application provided by MEERABEL SAS (hereinafter the “Service”), and/or users (hereinafter the “User” or the “Users”) of the Meerabel mobile application provided by MEERABEL SAS (hereinafter the “Service”), and/or users (hereinafter the “User” or the “Users”) of the Meerabel mobile application provided by MEERABEL SAS (hereinafter the “Service”) the commitments of MEERABEL SAS to ensure the protection of this data.
The Policy is not contractual in nature and does not create an obligation beyond what is already provided for by the abovementioned Applicable Regulations on the protection of Personal Data or by the contractual commitments between MEERABEL SAS and the User.
MEERABEL SAS reserves the right to modify the Policy at any time in order in particular to comply with any regulatory, jurisprudential, editorial or technical changes. The Visitor and/or the User must refer to the latest version of the Policy before browsing.
Where applicable, the Policy applies simultaneously to the General Conditions of Use of the Site and the Service.
In application of the Applicable Regulations, the person responsible for processing Personal Data is the company MEERABEL SAS, registered in the Rennes Trade and Companies Register under the number 913604278, having its registered office at 4 PAS ANTOINETTE CAILLOT 35000 RENNES, Rennes 35000 (hereinafter the “Company”).
In order to ensure the compliance of its practices with the Applicable Regulations, MEERABEL SAS has appointed a Personal Data Protection Officer (hereinafter the “Referent”).
The Referent is the preferred contact point for Visitors and/or Users with MEERABEL SAS in terms of Personal Data protection.
The Visitor and/or the User may contact the Referrer for any questions relating to the processing of their Personal Data as well as to the exercise of their rights over them (see article 11).

“Personal Data” refers to any information that can identify the Visitor and/or the User directly (e.g., their name) or indirectly (e.g., through pseudonymized data such as a unique identifier).
MEERABEL SAS ensures that it only collects and processes Personal Data that is strictly necessary for the purpose for which they are processed (application of the principle of minimizing Personal Data).
However, if MEERABEL SAS invites Visitors and/or Users to communicate only Personal Data that is strictly necessary to process their request, they remain free to communicate the Personal Data of their choice. Also, MEERABEL SAS cannot be blamed for collecting Personal Data that it did not request to be communicated.

Newsletter — commercial solicitation
To receive information from Meerabel, the Visitor and/or the User must provide their email address.
When sending its newsletter, MEERABEL SAS also uses the name and surname of the Visitor and/or the User.
In the event of withdrawal of consent or opposition to any commercial solicitation by the Visitor and/or the User, MEERABEL SAS maintains an unsubscribe list (e-mail) and information on the opposition of the person concerned.
Registration for the Meerabel application
When registering for the Meerabel mobile application, MEERABEL SAS collects the following Personal Data:

Visitor/User Assistance
In order to assist a Visitor and/or a User when using the Site or the Service, MEERABEL SAS may collect their name, first name, telephone and email address, as well as the content of the assistance request.
Statistics/audience monitoring
MEERABEL SAS records the consultations and the use of its Service by Visitors and/or Users. MEERABEL SAS records usage data when the User accesses the Service (or uses them in any way), which includes the Site. MEERABEL SAS uses login identifiers, cookies, device information and IP addresses to identify the Visitor and/or User and to record their activity.
Management of people's rights
When the Visitor and/or the User sends MEERABEL SAS a request to exercise rights in accordance with the Applicable Regulations, MEERABEL SAS collects and processes the following data: identification data, contact details, data related to the request and photocopy of the identity document if applicable.
In some cases, the Visitor and/or the User communicates Personal Data directly (for example as part of newsletter subscriptions).
In other cases, MEERABEL SAS itself collects Personal Data from Visitors and/or Users (in particular thanks to cookies that make it possible to analyze how the Visitor and/or the User uses the Site) or the Personal Data is sent to MEERABEL SAS by third parties (e.g. by MEERABEL SAS partners).
The treatments that MEERABEL SAS implements respond to an explicit, legitimate and determined purpose.
The Personal Data of Visitors and/or Users are processed mainly for the following purposes:
• The use of the Service offered by MEERABEL SAS (the Meerabel mobile application)
• The provision of the requested service (e.g.: responding to a request for assistance; sending a newsletter);
• Compliance with MEERABEL SAS's legal obligations (e.g.: responding to a request to exercise rights related to Personal Data).
Depending on the purpose for which Personal Data is used, the legal basis on which the processing of Personal Data is based may be:
• The consent of the Visitor and/or the User;
• The legitimate interest of MEERABEL SAS, which may consist in the continuous improvement of its services according to the needs and expectations of the Visitor and/or the User, in particular through the analysis of activity on the Site;
• Legal obligations as soon as the legislation in force requires the processing of Personal Data.
Depending on the purpose of the treatment, the retention period of the Visitor and/or User's Personal Data may vary.
MEERABEL SAS keeps the Personal Data of Visitors and/or Users for the time necessary to achieve the purpose pursued or to fulfill its legal obligations.
* MEERABEL SAS may keep certain Personal Data longer in order to fulfill its legal or regulatory obligations, and in order to allow it to exercise its rights (for example, file an appeal in any court) or for statistical or historical purposes.
Personal Data concerned and Retention periods in a form that allows identification directly or indirectly (with exceptions*)
When MEERABEL SAS no longer needs to use the Visitor and/or User's Personal Data, it deletes them from its systems and files or anonymizes them so that they no longer allow the Visitor and/or the User to be identified.
Personal Data is intended exclusively for the internal services of MEERABEL SAS. Likewise, the assistance service for Visitors and/or Users is likely to access Personal Data in order to respond to a request for assistance.

MEERABEL SAS undertakes to take all measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the Visitor and/or User's Personal Data and in particular to prevent them from being modified, deleted or from being accessed by unauthorized third parties.
In the event of a security incident leading, in an accidental or unlawful manner, to the destruction, loss, loss, alteration, disclosure and/or unauthorized access to the Personal Data of Visitors and/or Users, MEERABEL SAS undertakes to make any useful notification in accordance with the Applicable Regulations.

Right to rectification
The Visitor and/or the User may rectify or ask MEERABEL SAS to rectify their Personal Data if they are inaccurate or out of date or to complete them if they are incomplete, by contacting MEERABEL SAS at the contact details below.
